I enjoy lying by the pool and reading a book on those nice patio cushions. It was nice sitting in the courtyard and watching my son practicing his swimming. It was so fun for him and I knew that he loved the vacation so much. Though it was a short break, we had a great time and wouldn’t mind going back to Bali again.

Just before she left for her trip, she took up travel insurance online as part of the protection plan. We walked so much that at one point, I don’t think I would ever need any fat burning pills! I am sure I had burnt out all the fats by those hours of walking. It would be hard to convince my other half that shopping can help me loose calories! I find myself missing Hong Kong food after being back. I miss the coolish weather and the comfortable bed that I snuggle in every night – how nice! Well, the next trip when I’m back, I hope to stay at the same place again… staying in a serviced apartment is so much better than staying in a hotel!

Whenever I visit an urban city, I like to pop by the beauty corners and check out the latest buys. I was searching for some acne creams during the trip and stumbled upon an organic one. I ended up walking out of the store with organic shampoo and a hair paste by Aveda. Shopping is indeed a retail therapy for me. This is one of those trips where I take it easy and just relax by the moment. I look forward to visit Hong Kong again – good food and wonderful shopping. There is no place in Asia in Hong Kong, it is so special to me!

He is in his seventies now and just went on retirement last year. I was sad to hear about his respiratory illness and apparently he told me that he was suffering from some mesothelioma illness. I understand from the web that mesothelioma survival rate can be quite high if proper treatment is carried out. Despite his condition, he is happily doing lots of voluntary work and helping those unfortunate. It was admirable to note that he wasn’t lamenting over his problem. I was told that the old workplace of his had contributed to this illness and affected his lungs. I sincerely hope that he can continue to enjoy good health and enjoy his retirement to the fullest!

I am hoping to plan something for our wedding anniversary this year. Not exactly sure where we wanna go but I hope to go somewhere that I like and immerse in the local culture. With more travel promotions around, it’s a good time to start looking.

One of them is Hawaii, an island I have always love and enjoy. I would love to revisit this lovely country and this time, I would like to try out different hawaii hotels. Waikiki beach is still my favourite even though it’s full of tourists everyday. It’s so relaxing to stroll along the beach and enjoy the beautiful sunset. I miss the cool breeze and beautiful smiles of the people. Everyone is so relaxed and calm.

Well, for now, it’s back to the routine and I can’t wait for another trip to a beautiful island like Hawaii.

Only thing is, you need to clean the floor tiles when they are dirty since it is a self contained accommodation. But I do like the freedom and the home away from home comforts and convenience.

One more day and my vacation at the Gold Coast has ended but I’m so thankful that this trip can be made possible. Other than my poor health, I have been able to do what I want to do but have to skip Surfers Paradise for time reasons. One thing I know, I will be back here before long… there’s no place like the Gold Coast.

I was searching around for more natural skin care and stumbled upon some good products from Dr Hauschka. Personally, I have had some experience with the organic skin care by Dr Hauschka and was glad that they had launched the regenerating series for anti aging purpose too. Though it was brief, my trip was a good one. I was reluctant to leave the country and couldn’t wait to visit this beautiful city again.
