It’s a holiday for them and they desire to take a break from the hectic lifestyle back home. We had a simple homecooked dinner and we talked and chatted over everything in life, from discussing about Polaris Ranger Accessories to shopping online for supplements. It was a nice get together. Tomorrow we are taking them to the city and I believe they are going to have a great time. Let’s hope the weather is perfectly fine tomorrow as the markets will be on!

We need to buy a few things for our new house and the factory outlets have been a great place to grab some kitchen buys. DH is shopping for garage door openers while I’m stocking up some dishes and linens for the new house. We will be moving in next week and we are still settling down slowly in to the country. Hopefully the new car arrives this week and we can cruise around with our new vehicle soon!

We are still waiting for our new car to arrive this week and while waiting, we have been moving around by foot. After shopping around for a good all in one printer, we managed to get one with a scanning software which is the best thing for a home office. It’s been nice waking up to a river view and I believe I’m going to miss this in one week’s time.

Recalling all the gift ideas I saw in the mall, there are so many things to buy! From baccarat cigars for someone older to a homeware gift for a homemaker, it’s easy to get loss with finding the right gifts. Toys are the biggest preference for kids and it’s hard not to like any toy, is it? My son is complaining that he’s not receiving enough toys this Christmas.

I am glad to have friends from all walks of life including lawyer, hairstylist, human resource and IT. So when I need some help in accounting, I can ring my accounting friend. I have been so busy over the weekends that all I want is to sit back and do nothing! My cleaner had retired two weeks ago and I was busy cleaning and tidying up the house. I managed to wash all the outdoor cushions and curtains since they haven’t been cleaned for a while! When you don’t do your own household cleaning, you just assumed that everything is done. But for long term maintenance, I still hope to get a cleaner to do all the washing up once a week. This will give my back a break and save me from all the aches and joint pain! I am feeling so old after a big clean up last week!

So with a busy week ahead, I need to start my planning and make sure that everything is in place before my vacation this weekend!

It’s still rather unbelievable that in two days’ time, we are into the New Year. It’s time for goal setting again.

It was a quiet one for us as we left early for church and then went for a nice lunch with some good friends. This afternoon, I ought to be packing in some shipping boxes for our move next year so it’s a busy week for me again! With no helpers around, it’s tiring doing everything by myself. This evening, we are off to the park with our little one to get some fresh air (hopefully)!

Then it’s a home cooked gourmet dinner before sitting back with a good movie with my hubby.

Today, I decided to do up his birthday invite list and confirm the food for his party. Being his first party, there is still much to learn on our part. I manged to take so time to check out some term life insurance rates before moving on to some birthday party packs for his little guests. Organizing parties like that can be fun albeit the amount of work involved.

So it looks like I should hurry off these errands and catch some sleep before he came knocking on my door later. Sunday is just one nice day I look forward to these days.
