Do We Need Vitamins?
The question of whether the body needs additional vitamins and supplements is always debatable among our circle of friends. Some believe that we can get sufficient vitamins from the foods we eat everyday while others don’t think so.
I am a believer of taking supplements as I know that I have not consumed the right amount of fruits and vegetables as the body requires everyday. Our body is incapable of producing some vitamins such as the C vitamins so a supplement is required especially when you are under the weather. Vitamin C is also a much needed antioxidant required by the body to perform certain functions.
Whether or not you believe in vitamins, do eat well and take a good portion of fruits and vegetables everyday for your health’s sake.
