When hubby’s laptop was ‘fried’ by lightning few weeks ago, he was feeling rather depressed and upset. Due to the fact that we work from home, it is disruptive when a computer broke down or if something isn’t working well in the office.

These days, we use the computer and internet for just about everything under the sun, from booking our air tickets to using it to compare life insurance rates. We use it for our marketing activities and communicating with business clients and personal friends. Gone were the days of snail mail except on special occasions such as christmas day. Everything is electronic and it’s inevitable that technology has played a big part of our lives, work and personal.

I mean, how amazing it is when my five year old can tell me what he has learned about the CPU, the mouse, the printing properties and the internet! You can’t help but to keep up with technology!
