After staying in a few hotels during this family vacation, I realize that modern furniture does make a difference to the room interiors and style. The choice of furniture affects the room design and ambience. For instance, we stayed at The Lanson Place hotel in Hong Kong and due to the white and clean lines used by the room designer, the room seemed airy and cosy. Opposed to that, The Royal Pacific Hotel used dark coloured furniture that gave an old fashioned and outdated finish and the freshness was just absent from the room ambience.

Modernity is so important and it involves the right use of style, colour and design. Correctly used, it commands a luxury that is above expectation and imparts a welcoming feel to the beholder.
