One of the places I hope to visit is the Caribbean islands. My heart just melts at the turquoise blue waters and crystal clear skies. Travelers simply love to book themselves into a villa or all inclusive resort and be pampered by the serenity of nature and impeccable sights of islands.

Perhaps I would pick one of the St. John villa rentals and spend a couple of weeks strolling by the beaches and taking a hike in the trails. Hopefully, our preschooler is ready to join us for the hike and we can explore together as a family. I read that children will enjoy exploring at their level–poking in the dirt, pointing out flowers and spider webs, basically getting muddy and having a blast. Don’t pressure them into hurrying up, just try to move along at their speed. They’ll tire soon enough, and when that happens, a good baby carrier–especially a comfortable backpack–will almost be a necessity.
