I can’t agree more than parenting is a big commitment and noble duty from above. I have seen how many of my friends cared for their babies and little ones and their commitment has been one that is unwavering and sacrificial. It hurt the hearts of parents who their children turn to devious ways or when they decide to challenge the law. I had an aunt who became so heartbroken when my cousin got into drugs and alcohol drinking and refused to seek help from an alcohol rehab. It was painful for her to witness how her boy lost his future to addictions.

Sometimes I wonder if I can be a good parent who sacrifice my all and commit my time to looking after babies. It seems like a huge responsibility and thinking about it can send me some uncertainties. I suppose when the time comes, I will be ready. Till then, I should just appreciate the gift of life and be thankful for every blessing from above.
